Arts and sports are an important and integral part of the seminary formation. The arts and academic activities of the seminary inaugurated on the 9th of June every year on the feast of St. Ephrem. The seminary provides ample opportunities to its seminarians to prosper in their artistic talents and abilities. Seminarians can participate in various inter seminary competitions on essay writings, speeches, homilies, quiz etc. there are English academies for the philosophers to grow in English language and communication. The arts fest conducted in the seminary in connection with the home day is another important occasion for the seminarians to present their artistic abilities. Competitions on Literary, Artistic, Stage events etc are conducted in the seminary and the seminarians are keen in strengthening their artistic abilities and talents. The debates and quiz programs in connection with Arts competitions are worth appraisal. The stage events of dramas, one act plays which showcases various socio-political themes excel from year to year.
The sports activities in the seminary also plays an important role in the strengthening and formation of the seminarians. The seminary promotes basketball, Volleyball, Football and Badminton. The students are also free to play cricket during free days. Coaching is imparted every year to those who are selected to the seminary team. Friendly matches with nearby educational institutes as well as other seminaries are conducted every year. The sports day conducted in relation to the home day caters athletics. Brothers actively participate in these events. The marathon conducted every year is also worth mentioning. There are some occasions for the seminarians where martial arts training is imparted.
