In celebration of the seminary’s silver jubilee, the Good Shepherd Institutes of Theology and Philosophy jointly organized an insightful extension lecture on the theme “Global Mission of the Syro-Malabar Church: Prospects and Challenges” at 11:00 AM in the GSMS Auditorium.
Rev. Fr. Francis Eluvathingal, the Secretary of the Syro-Malabar Commission for Evangelisation and Pastoral Care of Migrants, was the resource person for the day, sharing valuable insights on the challenges and opportunities in the global mission of the Church.
Rev. Fr. Jojo Kuttikadan, the Vice-Rector, extended a warm welcome, while Rev. Fr. Antony Tharekkadavil offered the presidential address. The event was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Jacob Chanikuzhy.
The lecture, attended by both students and faculty from the institutes, provided a platform for enriching discussion and reflection. The event concluded at 1:10 PM, followed by a thoughtful sharing session.
